Hi! My name is Matilda Ala-Salomäki. I'm a 18 years old amateur nature photographer. My main photography subjects are birds. I live in Pirkkala, Finland and I'm currently studying in high school.

I got my first camera and a 300mm lens for bird photography in the spring of 2021. However, I didn't actively start shooting until the fall of that year. So far, I have only photographed in my home country, Spain and Norway.

Nowadays I usually shoot with Canon EOS R5 and Canon 200-800mm.

Hei! Nimeni on Matilda Ala-Salomäki. Olen 18-vuotias ja harrastan valokuvausta. Pääkuvauskohteeni ovat linnut. Asun Pirkkalassa ja opiskelen tällä hetkellä lukiossa.

Hankin ensimmäisen kamerani ja 300 millisen objektiivin vuoden 2021 keväällä. Aloitin kuitenkin aktiivisesti kuvaamaan vasta syksyllä 2021. Tähän mennessä olen kuvannut ainoastaan kotimaassani, Espanjassa sekä Norjassa.

Nykyään kuvaan suurimmaksi osaksi kalustolla, johon kuuluu Canon EOS R5 -kamera sekä Canonin 200-800 millinen objektiivi.
